The Donation Ceremony of Solar Street Lamps to Dongliu Village, Pengshui County Was Successfully Hel

        On January 26, 2024, the donation ceremony of solar street lamps to Dongliu Village, Baojia Town, Pengshui County was successfully held in Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, Chongqing Municipality. Attendees included a 4-member delegation led by Zhong Chen, Deputy Director of the Coordination Bureau of the Central Foreign Affairs Office; Feng Zimin, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government; Feng Renyong, Director of the Secretary's Office of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office; a 3-member delegation led by Wang Zeshen, Secretary-General of the China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS); relevant responsible persons of the China Rural Development Foundation; as well as leaders and representatives from Pengshui County Party Committee, County People's Government, County Rural Revitalization Bureau and other relevant units.

        In 2023, the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to coordinate the layout of rural infrastructure and public services, and build livable, productive and beautiful villages. Guided and witnessed by the Central Foreign Affairs Office, the China Industrial Association of Power Sources (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") cooperated with the China Rural Development Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the "Foundation") to support the rural revitalization cause of Pengshui. It donated 2,400 street lamps worth nearly 6 million yuan to Dongliu Village, Pengshui County, jointly helping improve the living environment of Dongliu Village and build a livable, productive and beautiful village.

        In his speech, Wang Zeshen, Secretary-General of the China Industrial Association of Power Sources, mentioned that fulfilling social responsibilities, putting people at the center, and benefiting the people are the bounden duties of the Association. This donation is an important achievement of the Association's participation in the second batch of thematic education activities on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era among national-level industry associations and chambers of commerce. It is also a concrete action to transform the learning achievements into promoting industry development and improving people's well-being. This donation is committed to solving the road lighting problem in Dongliu Village, improving the travel conditions of villagers, enhancing their sense of security, gain, and happiness, improving the quality and efficiency of the targeted assistance work of the Central Foreign Affairs Office, and at the same time contributing to China's great cause of rural revitalization, lighting up the most beautiful mountain village with love.

        Wang Zeshen also introduced that the Association strictly abides by the "Four Services" principle and acts as a booster for the high-quality development of the industry. To address the unbalanced and inadequate development of the new energy industry in Southwest China, after careful consideration, the Association has made an important decision to break regional bottlenecks and empower the economic revitalization of Southwest China—the CIBF Tour Exhibition will enter Chongqing for the first time!

        From April 27 to 29 this year, CIBF2024 will be held at Chongqing International Expo Center for the first time, covering 14 exhibition halls with a total area of over 180,000 square meters. Currently, more than 2,000 enterprises including CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited) have confirmed their participation, and it is expected that 200,000 visitors will attend. During the same period, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Society of Automotive Engineers, China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., China Industrial Association of Power Sources and other units will host several high-end industry summits such as the "Energy Electronics Conference" and "Intelligent Manufacturing". At that time, many academicians, renowned professors, industry elites and entrepreneurs will deliver wonderful academic reports and keynote speeches. The event aims to promote the coordinated development of upstream and downstream industrial chain enterprises in the new energy industry, help optimize and upgrade the local industrial structure, drive the high-quality development of the new energy industry in Southwest China, jointly draw a magnificent blueprint for the new energy industry, and share the outstanding achievements of global new energy technology!

        Relevant responsible persons of the China Rural Development Foundation stated that for a long time, the Foundation has maintained a good cooperative relationship with the Central Foreign Affairs Office, providing full assistance to Pengshui County in rural industrial development, education and medical care, infrastructure construction, consumption-assisted agriculture and other aspects.
